Trump Administration Vows To Indict, Imprison Vandals

Attorney General Barr says that the Trump Administration is utilizing the JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force) units across the nation to help identify and prosecute those responsible for vandalizing monuments, statues, etc. across the country. Says they have convened juries and already have injunctions.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia announced that four individuals have been charged in Federal Court for attempting to tear down a statue in Lafayette Square of Andrew Jackson earlier this month.

President Trump and AG Barr have both stated that the U.S. Government will seek the maximum penalty of ten years for those responsible for the destruction of statues, monuments, etc. on U.S. federal property.
