Traveling into the studio today, via the Manhattan subway system, I stumbled upon Shigemasa Nakano performing on a subway platform amidst the deafening subway noise, shady characters, and hussle/bustle of the city.
The video clip taken via my iPhone speaks for itself. This performer and his sister were humbly soothing the pain of subway travel, mesmerizing young and old, hip and unhip, artist and businessperson. He was a blessing to the day.
As a teaser for a hopeful interview and performance to come on Stipko Live
, we wanted to release this impromptu video and spread his talent as fast as possible. It shouldn't be missed.
