How our leaders are spawning catastrophe
Our nation’s immigration laws are among its most fundamental because they were enacted to protect national security and the lives and livelihoods of Americans. Politicians from both political parties have found every excuse imaginable, and indeed, some excuses that defy logic and reason to explain why our immigration laws cannot, will not or must not be enforced.
The Obama administration has done the most damage to the immigration system, making a mockery of our immigration laws and sending a clear and dangerous message to people from around the world- in the United States violations of our laws will not only be tolerated but rewarded. The sheer statistics are staggering and provide irrefutable evidence of the level of anarchy created by this administration.
The consequences of the failures of our immigration laws have repeatedly enabled terrorists to enter the United States and embed themselves as they went about their deadly preparations to launch deadly terror attacks inside the United States.
Record numbers of criminal aliens ply their “trades” with impunity in towns and cities across our nation that cost thousands of innocent people their lives.
Today, July 19, 2016, my column for FrontPage Magazine was predicated on the terror attack committed in Nice, France by an Algerian immigrant who went on a murderous rampage killing at least 84 innocent people, including children, who had just watched a fireworks display along the beach of that resort town in celebration of France’s Bastille Day. Many more of his victims are in extremely critical condition and consequently, the death total may go still higher.
Even as I write my latest FrontPage article, an axe-wielding 17 year old refugee from Afghanistan who had been admitted into Germany, attacked passengers in a train and, as reported, injured at least 21 passengers on that train who simply had the misfortune of boarding the “wrong” train.
While Hillary Clinton and all too many politicians, especially Democrats, claim that immigration has nothing to do with our vulnerability to terrorism, the facts contradict that delusional notion. My article “connects the dots” and shows how failures of the immigration system have left America and Americans vulnerable to terrorists who are determined to carry out deadly terror attacks inside the United States.
As Americans, irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity, we are in this battle for survival together. This is not about being a Democrat, a Republican, a Conservative or a Liberal. It is not about being an Independent. This is about being an American!
Those who advocate for the effective enforcement of our immigration laws are not “Anti-Immigrant” but are “Pro-Enforcement.” To be “Pro-Enforcement” is taking a “Pro-Immigrant” position because under our current immigration laws our nation admits more lawful immigrants than all of the other countries on this planet. Our current immigration laws are utterly blind as to race, religion and ethnicity and must finally be effectively enforced!
Tactics of intimidation and deceptive use of language are the stock and trade of the open borders anarchists. Anyone who would dare suggest that our government must exercise caution in admitting aliens into the United States to protect the safety and security of America and Americans are quickly branded “racist” and “nativist.” Their objective is to shut down debate and discourse- the hallmarks of true democracies.
Americans must be willing to stand their ground and not be intimidated by the false accusations- far too much hangs in the balance!
Many people have come to complain that we have become too “Politically Correct” to speak the truth about important issues. My view is that the artful use of language that has been described as examples of political correctness are in fact, examples of Orwellian “Newspeak.”
Michael Cutler, Senior Immigration Editor And Senior Special Agent Of The Ins (ret): I think it is absolutely essential that I explain who I am. I also feel it is important to explain why I have embarked upon a mission to provide insight about our nation's many failures in securing the United States borders. My opinions are based on thirty years of experience with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). Beyond my professional experience, I'd also like you to understand that who I am as a human being is a foundation for my opinions as well. Why is immigration... (more...)
