Republicans don't understand conservatism and democrats have confirmed every bad stereotype.

Robin Roy is one very eager supporter of U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Wearing a t-shirt reading "Obama, Youre Fired. Vote Trump 2016", she had waited along the rope-line for a chance to meet Trump in person at a campaign rally in Massachusetts. - Brian Snyder ©2017 Brian Snyder

[Comments] Today I truly became an Independent Voter. Since I turned 18, I've been a registered independent, but I've always voted for the Republican candidate. It was important to me to not be a registered Republican though as a symbol to myself that I wouldn't blindly vote for someone just because they had an R by their name.

In this election, the Republicans and Republican voters did everything they could to be everything I always said conservatives aren't. Conservatives aren't sexist, they want everyone to compete on a level field. Republicans abandoned this idea. Conservatives aren't racists, they want everyone to compete on a level field. Republicans abandoned this idea. Conservatives aren't xenophobic, they want easy immigration and vetting. Republicans abandoned this idea. Conservatives respect women and believe you're not a real man if you'd force yourself on a woman. Republicans abandoned this idea. Conservatives believe in freedom, and that taking away someone's freedom is a last resort that should only be used when necessary. Republicans abandoned this idea.

Democrats did everything they could to show that politicians are exactly who we thought they were. House of Cards is essentially a Clinton documentary. Does anyone believe this woman is really going to go after her rich special interest buddies? Why would Wall Street want her to win? Is she really going to sick the dogs on the people who paid her and her husband $150 million over the last few years? Can she really be President when I'd be in jail if I did half of what she's done? Hillary won't help poor people, minorities, immigrants, refugees, or women. Hillary's going to help the only people she's really loyal to: herself and her loyalists.

So because of all this, I cast my vote today for Gary Johnson. I know he only has one road to victory, and it's basically a trick that's never happened and is highly unlikely. I know he's not a perfect candidate and he had some major flubs. But it was how he responded to them that made me like him so much. When's the last time you heard a politician say "I don't know" instead of trying to BS a smoke cloud answer? Who else is supporting liberty? Legalization? Immigration? Real criminal justice reform
