DOJ To Propose Rolling Back Protections For Big Tech

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is expected to announce later today that they will propose legislation to remove protections that big tech platforms like Google, Twitter and Facebook have under Section 230 immunities. It is expected to look at whether their content moderation is fair and consistent.

Separately, GOP Senators, Hawley, Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton and Mike Braun are introducing a bill that would allow online news outlets – such as the Federalist, Zero Hedge and others – to sue for unequal treatment.
