A prominent Catholic archbishop, Archbishop Vigano, recently gave an interview, published here in which he discusses a letter he wrote to President Donald J. Trump describing the November 2020 election as a “choice between good and evil.”
In his interview, he also notes the connection between the “deep state” and the “deep church.” He indicates that both Joe Biden and Pope Francis do the bidding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and states that Joe Biden is “subservient to the economic and political interests of Beijing…”
In one astounding sentence, His Grace returns to a theme of the letter he wrote to Donald Trump earlier this year, the connection between the deep state and the deep church. He claims that both Joe Biden and Pope Francis do the bidding of the brutal Chinese Communist Party: “The Chinese communist dictatorship is courted by both the deep state and the deep church: Joe Biden is as subservient to the economic and political interests of Beijing as Jorge Mario Bergoglio.”

Vigano, in his June letter to President Trump also noted:
In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness.
In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state…have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans.
We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances…
The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state…It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

More recently, a Catholic priest near Baltimore, MD gave a sermon in which he assesses the positions of former Vice-President Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris. He tells his congregation that he is not telling them how to vote, but rather ensuring that they see what Biden’s actual positions are on issues of importance. Specifically, he calls out Biden and Harris’s stance on abortion “for any and no reason” up until “the moment of birth.” He also lays out an argument about Biden and Harris’s commitment to socialism and communist causes and states that a move in this direction would further erode Americans’ religious freedoms and liberties.
