The Revolution Claims Another Victim

Wednesday a Daytona Beach police officer was shot in the head while making a routine inquiry of an individual he had spotted sitting in a parked car in front of a residence at night.  The officer is still in critical condition.  The shooter is a man named Othal Wallace aka O-Zone Wallace.  Wallace was apprehended Saturday hiding in a treehouse in Georgia.

The media – in the usual fashion – shows no particular interest in delving into the details of the shooting or its import.  It should.  This was not just a criminal act.  It was an attack on a law enforcement officer by an expressed revolutionary dedicated to the armed overthrow of the republic.  This was the latest in a string of such actions.  It will not be the last.

Othal Wallace has the predictable long rap sheet ranging from driving under the influence to domestic abuse. He is also a member of an armed black revolutionary group calling itself the “Not F***ing Around Coalition” (NFAC) and only a couple of weeks ago joined the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense.

The NFAC has appeared on numerous occasions around the country pushing the agenda of establishing a new black homeland and seceding from the United States.  Its members are heavily armed.  Its leader, who calls himself Grandmaster Jay, has been indicted for pointing an assault-style weapon at several federal officers at a protest in Louisville, Kentucky.  According to the criminal complaint against him Jay has also taken to YouTube to urge NFAC members to attack and kill law enforcement and their families.

The NFAC reportedly trains its members to pull the power cord on police body cameras before killing law enforcement officers.  This is done to prevent the collection of evidence, which might lead to a subsequent conviction.  Interestingly, the body camera footage of the encounter in Florida during which Wallace shot a Daytona Beach officer ends abruptly as if the power to the body camera had been suddenly cut off.

When Wallace was apprehended, he was on property owned by the NFAC.  According to police when Wallace was apprehended, he had in his possession multiple flash bangs, rifle plates, body armor, two rifles, two handguns, and several boxes of ammunition.  Several other members of the NFAC were present on the property when Wallace was arrested.

Upon his arrest, Wallace had this to say.  “You guys know who I am.  You know what I’m capable of and it could have been a lot worse.”

As problematic as the NFAC may be, the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense, is a whole different level of dangerous.

The New Black Panther Party for Self Defense (NBPPSD) is a virulently racist organization.  It is an offshoot of the New Black Panther Party – a group so extreme that members of the original Black Panther Party have denounced it as too radical.  Even a brief review of comments made by the leaders of the NBPPSD makes clear that this is a hate group dedicated expressly to violence.

When he joined the New Black Panther Party Wallace was welcomed by its leader Malik Zulu Shabazz as a “young warrior” with “serious field experience.”

In a rational world our government would recognize the growing danger from the power of revolutionary black separatist movements and other Marxist organizations like Antifa, Redneck Revolt, John Brown Gun Clubs, etc. Unfortunately, we do not live in a rational world and our federal law enforcement authorities have apparently determined to ignore their constitutional obligations and to serve their political masters.

The result is a theater of the absurd. While expressly revolutionary groups continue to grow in power and stage ever bolder attacks the FBI remains fixated on tracking down and arresting individuals who may or may not be guilty of trespass in the Capitol on January 6th and on pushing the blatant lie that the number one threat to the nation comes from so-called white supremacists.

Wallace is off the street. The officer he shot may yet survive. There is some small comfort in that, but it does not change the underlying truth. The Revolution just claimed another victim, and there are many more to come.
