Biden Pushes Vaccine Mandates – While CDC Admits Covid Vaccines Not Preventing Transmission

The AP published a story this week discussing the toughening stance of the Biden administration in attempting to coerce more Americans to take the “shot” even as CDC Director Wallensky admitted publicly this week that the Covid shots are not effective at preventing the spread of the virus. It also comes as many nations and areas that are heavily vaccinated are seeing a large uptick in “breakthrough” Covid cases in the fully vaccinated. An Israeli doctor, Dr. Kobi Haviv, interviewed on Chanel 13 in Israel, stated that the number of fully vaccinated in the hospital because of breakthrough Covid infections has risen to 90 – 95%.

With reports coming out of Israel that 95% of seriously ill and hospitalized Covid patients are vaccinated, this seems like a strange (or perhaps desperate) time to push for more vaccine mandates. The CDC freely admits that the Covid shots are not preventing the spread of coronavirus, so why this ‘rushed talk’ to get tougher on those who have yet to take the shots?

The AP article is very clear that the Biden administration is now attempting to make it very uncomfortable for Americans NOT to get the vaccine:

Meanwhile, the administration has taken steps toward mandating shots for people traveling into the U.S. from overseas. And the White House is weighing options to be more assertive at the state and local level, including potential support for school districts imposing rules to prevent spread of the virus over the objection of Republican leaders.

“To the mayors, school superintendents, educators, local leaders, who are standing up to the governors politicizing mask protection for our kids: thank you,” Biden said Thursday. “Thank God that we have heroes like you, and I stand with you all, and America should as well.”

But even as Biden becomes more aggressive, he has refrained from using all his powers to pressure Americans to get vaccinated. He’s held off, for instance, on proposals to require vaccinations for all air travelers or, for that matter, the federal workforce. The result is a precarious balancing act as Biden works to make life more uncomfortable for the unvaccinated without spurring a backlash in a deeply polarized country that would only undermine his public health goals.

Are they really public health goals if this aggressive push for vaccine mandates is occurring just as there is worldwide reporting that the vaccines are failing?

The AP News article also notes that the Biden administration has waited for the “right time” to roll out tougher mandates. Despite the admitted failure of the current Covid shots to limit the transmission of the coronavirus, Fauci still says that “shots are the only path for the nation to contain the delta variant.”

Are we are missing his logic or did Fauci never take a course in critical reasoning? While the CDC admits Covid shots are not preventing the spread of coronavirus and heavily vaccinated regions report that the overwhelming majority of hospitalized Covid patients are vaccinated, the Biden administration is talking about forcing (or, strongly encouraging) businesses, employers, etc. to require proof of vaccination. Joe even is talking about requiring vaccine proof for interstate travel in the U.S.

Fully vaccinated people who get a Covid-19 breakthrough infection can transmit the virus, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Thursday.

“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well,” Walensky told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death — they prevent it. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”

One might also question Walensky’s assertion that the shots are working “well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death — they prevent it” – when increasing numbers of hospital-admitted Covid patients are fully vaccinated…
