The War For Our Children’s Minds


Recent press reporting has revealed California teachers discussing not just how to push concepts like Critical Race Theory and gender fluidity on their students but how to prevent parents from learning about their activities. According to the Epoch Times, during a recent California Teachers Association (CTA) conference teachers mocked parents and discussed how to use LGBTQ clubs, known as Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs to recruit children and push the doctrine of gender fluidity.

The conference in question was called the “2021 LGBTQ+ Issues Conference, Beyond the Binary: Identity and Imagining Possibilities.” The overarching theme of the conference was to instruct teachers on how to push the LGBTQ+ curriculum without alerting parents. Teachers were told they should push to charge parents with child abuse if they refused to use made-up pronouns for their children that teachers had assigned.

Teachers were taught that in order to make it harder to scrutinize their activities, they should avoid creating any written records of their activities. Teachers in a workshop called “How we run a ‘GSA’ in Conservative Communities” advised, “Because we are not official, we have no club roster. We keep no record. In fact, sometimes we don’t really want to keep records because if parents get upset that their kids are coming, we’re like, yeah, I don’t know. Maybe they came.“

GSA clubs are not confined to California. They exist all over the nation. They are pushed by an organization called the GSA Network. The name, Gay Straight Alliance, was deliberately chosen to suggest a group focused simply on tolerance and inclusion. That is not the purpose of these “clubs” at all. They are explicitly designed to push a radical, transformative agenda, with the goal of destroying the existing social structure in the United States.

“GSA clubs, or GSAs for short, are student-run organizations that unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities. GSAs have evolved beyond their traditional role to serve as safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in middle schools and high schools and have emerged as vehicles for deep social change related to racial, gender, and educational justice.”

“Our framework recognizes white supremacy and antiBlackness as a social construct that are used to inflict violence on our trans and queer people of color at institutional and interpersonal levels.”

“The patriarchy, which most of our society is modeled after, clearly outlines the prescribed definition of gender and its resulting impacts. The gender binary (man on one side and woman on the other, with little wiggle room) has been used to limit us when it comes to our gender assigned at birth, as well as our gender identity and presentation as we grow up. When young people cross these invisible lines, they are often punished and experience violence. GSA gender justice work is working toward ending the expectations and limitations put on young people to conform to gender roles assigned to them. “

The GSA Network, like so many of the other organizations dedicated to destroying American society today, gets its funding from a number of left-wing foundations. These include the Ford Foundation, which also sends huge amounts of money to Black Lives Matter and a group called the Foundation for a Just Society.

The Foundation for a Just Society was created in 2011 by Audrey Cappell, daughter of hedge-fund manager and left-of-center mega-donor James Simons. The foundation makes grants to LGBT organizations and interests in areas all over the world. Since its formation, the organization has provided $95,000,000 to groups pushing the LGBTQ agenda.

The goal of GSA’s in schools is not to teach tolerance or to facilitate understanding. The goal is to indoctrinate students into a particular school of thought. That school of thought holds that gender is an artificial construct. It is assigned at birth. It is fluid and can change based on the desires of the individual.

That school of thought also teaches that the idea that there are only two genders is wrong and part of a patriarchal system designed to oppress and marginalize. The goal of a true social revolution can only be achieved by freeing people of this idea and empowering them to replace the “patriarchy” with some new, poorly defined social order in which men and women cease to exist as meaningful concepts.

Most importantly, though, the GSA clubs operate on the basis of the understanding that it is the schools, the state, that should teach your children all of these things. The idea that parents should be the ones teaching their children about family, gender, sexuality, and family structure is expressly rejected. Parents, in fact, are the enemy. They are the carriers of the disease of traditional social values.

Parents must be excluded. Parents must be punished if they get in the way. The revolution is coming, and nothing must be allowed to stand in its path.

Decades ago, we started down the road of social liberalization with the central idea that each individual would choose how to live his or her own life. We have now arrived at a very different, much darker place. Now we live in a world where the keepers of the new “truth” and the new orthodoxy believe they can impose their beliefs on all the rest of us.

These zealots have chosen the indoctrination of our children as their means for changing society. We are in a war for our children’s minds. On the outcome rests the future of the nation.
