Why Is Omicron Such A Big Deal? Because Africa Must Be Punished.

Unless you have been in a coma for the last week you are aware that a new variant of COVID – called Omicron – is sweeping the world. It is now in at least 38 nations. It is highly communicable, and “you should be terrified.”

Omicron was first detected in Southern Africa. At least eight African nations in that region have now been sealed off from the rest of the world via travel bans. It may soon no longer be safe to go outside.

What you may not know is that all indications are that the symptoms of Omicron are very mild. No one anywhere has yet died of this variant.

So, why the sudden move by the United States and other Western powers to seal off big chunks of Africa? Since when is a disease that produces mild, flu-like symptoms a threat to the world?

Why?

Since Africa had the temerity to defy the orders of the government-corporate cabal that decided two years ago only vaccination would be accepted as a way out of this pandemic. Because Africa and its success in fighting COVID largely without vaccines threaten the legitimacy of that entire house of cards.

Almost 80% of the people in Africa have not received a single dose of any vaccine against COVID. Only 7.5% of the population of the continent is fully vaccinated.

Much of Africa is poor. It is crowded. Medical care is often hard to come by. Malnutrition is a major problem. Africa should be a killing field for COVID.

It is not.

Africa has accounted for just 4.1% of the 4.3 million deaths worldwide from COVID. Roughly 17% of the world’s population lives in Africa.

Africa has a population of roughly 1.4 billion people. A total of 224,000 people has died of COVID there.

The United States has a population of approximately 330,000,000. Over 800,000 people have died of COVID in the United States.

There appear to be a number of reasons for this success. They all boil down to this though. Africa tried a bunch of things other than vaccines, and they worked.

In place of vaccines, Africa focused early on limiting travel and isolating individuals identified as having COVID. Many Africans spend a great deal of their time outside where the open-air limits transmission and sunlight provides critical Vitamin D. They were not directed to hide indoors and avoid outdoor activity.

Africa has a very low incidence of common comorbidities, which are actually killing COVID patients in the United States. Diabetes and hypertension for example are rare in Africa.

There also appears to be a substantial contribution from ivermectin in limiting the spread of the virus. Ivermectin is widely used in Africa to treat a wide range of parasitic and viral diseases. Studies suggest that this use of ivermectin may well have had the unforeseen but pleasant side effect of significantly lowering the number of COVID cases. One study found that those nations using ivermectin aggressively to treat other diseases had a 28% lower rate of COVID cases than those nations, which did not.

Whatever the combination of factors that have led to success, the numbers do not lie. Africa, with a tiny percentage of vaccinated people, is having far greater success against COVID than the United States, Western Europe, and other developed nations. That cannot be allowed to stand. Despite the efforts of the lapdog press to cover up the story, sooner or later the world is going to wake up to the fact that opting out of the whole vaccination push seems to be the best way forward.

So, Omicron – the disease that doesn’t kill anyone – must be hyped as a killer virus. African nations, even those with no documented cases of COVID, must be sealed off from the world, their economies disrupted, their ability to behave as members of the community of civilized nations crushed. When Biden ordered travelers from eight African nations banned from coming to the United States, six of those eight nations had yet to experience a single case of Omicron.

The African response to the isolated measures by Western nations has been predictable.

“The prohibition of travel is not informed by science, nor will it be effective in preventing the spread of this variant,” said South Africa president Cyril Ramaphosa.

“The only thing the prohibition on travel will do is to further damage the economies of the affected countries and undermine their ability to respond to and also to recover from the pandemic,” he added.
Lazarus Chakwera, the president of Malawi said, travel bans on southern African nations were “uncalled for.” “COVID measures must be based on science, not Afrophobia,” he added.

There is no question but that this is all true. There is no factual support for the idea that Omicron is a major threat and Africa must be sealed off from the world. It does not matter.

Africa went its own way. It succeeded. Big Pharma’s plans to vaccinate the world and make more money than it had ever dreamed of were threatened. Big Government’s plans to use a “health emergency” to trample individual rights and force everyone into conformance with global norms were in peril. South Africa had just returned covid vaccines to Pfizer.

Africa needed to be smacked down. In the weeks ahead discussions with African countries will take place. Planeloads of vaccines will be flow in. Millions will be forced to vaccinate. In exchange, travel restrictions will be eased.

The mainstream world press will craft the story this way. Omicron threatened the world because Africa hadn’t vaccinated its population. Vaccines brought it under control. Once again, High Priest Fauci and the cult of vaccination saved the day.

That’s what the world will hear, but the truth will be more than evident in Africa. They will know that they were punished for not toeing the line and doing as they were told.
