Joe Kent is a retired Army Special Forces Warrant Officer who served for over 20 years and completed 11 combat deployments in the Middle East. Joe began his career as an enlisted infantryman in the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Upon selection for Special Forces Joe served in the 5th Special Forces Group as a weapons and intelligence sergeant before being selected to become a Warrant Officer. Joe holds a BA from Norwich University in Strategic Defense Analysis. He is also a Gold Star husband. His wife, Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Shannon Kent, was killed in 2019 conducting special operations against ISIS in Syria.
